Two New Tools for Mobile App Developers
I recently came across two new tools for mobile app developers that I think are highly useful:
Appstatics is an app that Appsfire recently bought and relaunched. It is a mobile app that lets you monitor and track app rankings. You can think of it as an App Annie but as a pure mobile app. Just last week I was talking with someone at Casual Connect about both of us wanting a tool like this. Tracking the rankings has been easy when at the desktop but a challenge when you’re on-the-go. Appsfire solves this with Appstatics.
Apptopia is a marketplace for buying and selling mobile apps. Basically the Flippa for mobile apps. They launched in April and recently closed a $1mm seed round led by Mark Cuban. As the mobile app ecosytem evolves (it is doubling every year), there is more need for indie app developers to find exits. A marketplace like Apptopia that facilitates the buying and selling of apps is a big win for the whole ecosystem.
Any other new tools for app developers I should know about?
